The dimensions of young British Muslims’ success at history

In terms of the generation of success conceived of at the ‘laminated’ dimensions listed above, the study suggested that Muslim young people were succeeding (albeit to differing degrees) in each of the ‘articulated’ intellectual, spiritual, affective, instrumental and civic dimensions posited by the theoretical model. It also suggested that history as a school subject has great potential to contribute to the holistic development of Muslim youth, for whom faith, civic knowledge and participation and success in the world are all important.
